This statement sets out Happy Talkers’s policy in relation to the holding and using of information about you which may be obtained from you or other sources during your treatment.  This information may include personal details, details relating to your family lifestyle and social circumstances, education and training and employment details.  This data may be shared with yourself, your relatives and other healthcare or education professionals with your permission.  This information is held electronically on our encrypted/password protected computers (secure cloud storage).  This information is used for the administration of our service to you and for the purpose of keeping our accounts and records.  Legally, children’s records must be kept until that child reaches the age of 26. Archived records are stored electronically until they can be destroyed.
